Wives Initiative

Women Initiative for Values Empowerment and Sustainability International (WIVES Int'l) is a rural community based and gender development-oriented NGO that promotes Social and enviromental protection support Initiatives geared towards good governance, Peacebuilding, Enviromental, cultural and socio-economic justic for Women.

• Mission

To promote, protect the interests and welfare of women and children who are mainly tagged ‘ Disadvantaged ‘ especially within the Niger Delta, Nigeria and the globe at Large.

• Vision

Becoming a Voice and Shield to the Disadvantaged groups in the society through Advocacy and Positive Re-orientation.

• Aims

Wives Int’l NGO attained United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSCO) status in 2023; also adopted the United Nations ‘pact for the Future’ of the Next Generations.

To foster Peace and Development in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through domesticating policies to promote poverty alleviation, clean environment, peaceful co-existence and security.

Also provide Preventive measures for implementation of RESPECT Framwork as well as Sexual and Gender-Based Violence.
